Wednesday 3 April from 5pm to 7pm
Pysanka, the art of decorating eggs for Easter, has a centuries-old tradition and characterizes Ukrainian popular culture. Through the magic of signs it transmits, from ancient times to the present day, the code of the eternal Good.
The art of Pysanka passes on an extraordinary world of ideas and perceptions that becomes tangible in the decoration of the shell of a simple egg. Each engraved line is the beginning and completion of the symbolic representations of the knowledge of the ancestors.
