Steve brings to the Florence studio a special class that he usually holds in Australia, entitled ‘Philosophy of Art’.

What is Philosophy of Art?

This is how Steve explains it:

This is not a normal type of art class but instead more about philosophy before you can even start to paint. That is why it is called the philosophy of art. To be able to paint like one of these greats you first need to understand how to do it. And it is not about technique or the materials you use. It is about you. The first step is to realize it is you that paints it and to understand that everything is energy. Then it all becomes clear, in time, as to how to do it. I have run this class for a year in Australia, and still do it every week, and have found out that the painting is only a small component of what this class is about.
